Circle C Homeowners:
There seems to be a general consensus that, regardless of Judge Meurer's decision on the issues currently before her, the CCHOA bylaws need to be amended and the number of directors increased. I agree with this and wonder what we will do to fill the new directorships. Will the real leaders of Circle C please step forward and announce their willingness to serve?
Please tell us what changes you envision for our neighborhood; which contracts (management, landscaping, swimming pool, legal, accounting, website maintenance, etc.) you would change and how you would do this; how would you get more involvement from the residents and increase volunteerism and communication; how would you lower expenses and homeowner fees (if that is what you intend); how would you represent the views of your neighbors to others, like the City of Austin, political candidates, CAMPO, Stratus, Phoenix Holdings, TxDot, WallMart and others? What would you try to bring here and what would you discourage?
The old order has been in place now for 15 years without having to be truly accountable to those whose money they spent while claiming to be their leaders. The current CCHOA ''board'' is legally incapable of conducting business or representing anyone other than themselves. Two of its members were never legally elected and the third cannot act alone. Sooner or later they will all have to stand for a real election under terms set by Judge Meurer. What then? Will you give up this opportunity to make a difference in your own neighborhood? Think about it. Then speak up and do something positive to make your world and that of your neighbors a better place.

Where are we going now?
