Meet Your Officers:
President: Hazel Jackson (813-672-7386)
Hazel is currently the President, elect. She has been involved with community service for the better part of her life. She can trace her association with the Citizen?’s Improvement League back to the age of 17 when she was approached by the Founders of the League to be their
Secretary. Now, Hazel juggles work responsibilities with duties involving the Improvement League, the Community Council, and also serves on the Board of Directors for the
Florida Home Partnership (Formerly Homes for
Hillsborough).

1st Vice President: Enrique Gallegos
(813-295-3467)
Enrique is well known as the current President of the Rural Youth Soccer Association (RYSA) in Wimauma, a title that he has held for the past 4 years. An airline mechanic and welder until 2001, Enrique now dedicates his life to serving the community's youth through various programs and is a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadeloupe Catholic Church. He has been involved in the community as a coach for soccer, baseball, and softball. Enrique is a current member of the Wimauma Community Council, and was previously involved with the Civic Association. A long time resident with his wife Martha, Enrique has been helping anyone in need in the Wimauma area for nearly 30 years. Enrique and Martha have a daughter in College and a 9 year old son who is an
enthusiastic member of RYSA.

2nd Vice President: Wanda Broughton (813-634-3535)
Wanda is practically a Wimauma native, having moved to the area from Ruskin at the age of 12. She is married to a local farmer and has 2 grown daughters and one grandson. Wanda has worked as a Registered Nurse for nearly 20 years and has always been viewed as an advocate in one way or another. She has served on numerous employee councils, planning committees, and workgroups. Wanda has been recognized annually as a community service liaison for both The United Way and
The March of Dimes Campaigns. She also does double duty as an active participant in the Community Council and the Weed & Seed Steering Committee. She is currently the P.O.W.E.R. editor and Neighborhood Link Webmaster.
Wanda is tirelessly devoted to supporting
the Wimauma way of life.
