April 11th was a sunny and beautiful day, perfect for the 7th Annual Cleveland Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt. There were no shortage of EAster Eggs when the kids were let loose to fil their Easter Baskets with eggs filled with candy. The Venice median was dotted with pastel eggs form one end to the other. Kids and adults began gathering at the Gazebo at 1:00 p.m. The median was swept clean of about 1,600 eggs in no time. There were six eggs with quarters and those children who found them won $5.00 gift certificates to McDonalds. Cleveland residents enjoyed cookies and punch. The parents took some great pcitures while their children were talking and hugging the Easter Bunny. Thanks goes out to all the volunteers that made this another great event: Jade Edner, Christal Snow Walker, Jeanie Ruedy, Dan Martin, Nancy Tiernan, Carol Collins, Hannah, Kora, Carlson, Rachelle, Shanea, and Stormie Baily.
