ATTENTION: Sidewalk Danger

Several neighbors had the surprise of the County declaring their sidewalks unsafe, requiring repair by the County, with some bills over $1000.

Having surveyed the neighborhood, it appears that several other sidewalks may also be hazards, allowing the County to step in an automatically repair them. Please take some time and make the necessary repairs to your own sidewalks, avoiding a huge bill from the County.

We as a Neighborhood Association would not report any such violations. However, an individual may call in an unsafe sidewalk to the County, prompting and inspection. In the past, as a community, we have requested sidewalk repairs from the County, but when done in large numbers, there was a discount. If enough people show interest, we can pursue that again.
