Hello my fellow Neighbors !
My name is David Owens, ?“Coach?” to my friends. I have the pleasure of being your newly elected Neighborhood Association President. In our first election in several years the New Columbus Drive Neighborhood Improvement Association is back and looking for ways to serve you.

Your Association officers are:
David Owens, President
Robert Price, Vice President
Deborah Goodwin, Treasurer
David Garner, Secretary
Michelle Moore, Member at Large
Dorothy Brown, Member at Large
Howard Rollins, Member at Large

Each officer is elected to serve a two-year term.
As we begin a new year on Columbus Drive. I am feeling more and more fortunate to live in this neighborhood. Having lived here off and on for 27 years, I have seen many changes, neighbors come and go.
One thing that has not changed much is the beauty that surrounds us. We live in an area that time and sometimes our elected officials forget is here. We the Association, are preparing a list of concerns we have as relates to our blocks. Issues such as; Parking, Street Re-Paving, Garbage, Abandon Houses, Tree Trimming and Re-Planting of trees removed because of disease, Neighborhood Block Watch Program,Abandon cars & trucks,drug activity, and Prostitution, etc?…
We cannot do any of this alone! We need every neighbor that is able to participate in keeping our neighborhood safe, comfortable, beautiful, and clean. We want to continue to see our investments increase. Whether you own your house or rent, we all have an obligation to do the best we can in maintaining our properties.
Something as simple as picking up trash around your property, keeping your grass and hedges trimmed, etc?…
We invite and encourage all of you to attend your association meetings.
We meet the Second Tuesday of the month, at the Ivy Family Support Center across from the Post Office on Dolfield Ave.meetings are from 6:30pm ?– 8:00pm.
