Social & Recreational Committee report: Dot Speredakos announced that the Annual Cripple Creek Fund Raiser was very successful. 32 people participated. We made $185 (and that?’s with having to use and pay for the big bus). Refreshments were served on the bus, and consolation prizes were awarded to the losers on the way home. Great time was had by all!

Landscape Committee report: Fay Winkler Thanked everyone for watering their trees. It saved them. She has a quote from Cinderella for $300 to plant the entrance flower boxes. This amount was approved by the Board.
Mike Cinderella reported on the spring program of aeration, fertilizer, fungicide, trees, and sprinklers. The large willow trees near Sally Wilson?’s home were discussed. These trees will be watched so they do not affect the Wilson home foundation in a harmful way. The sprinklers are being adjusted.

Old Business: OUTSIDE MAINTENANCE......The mail-out concerning the exterior maintenance without raising dues has been completed and the returns are pouring in. If you have not yet mailed in your signed letter, please do so, or you may place it in the clubhouse mailbox. The swimming pool renovations have been completed with ?“sparking ?“ (water) results!

The Painting is continuing, as the weather permits. The contractors were awarded a partial payment after the April 19 walk-through. Final payment will be made only after final walk-through, inspection and approval.
Tennis court repairs are schedule for next week, weather permitting. Sally Wilson agreed to inspect the nets and report to the Board on their condition.

New Business: Donny Whitlock reported on his research of speed limit signs,
presenting a map that depicted
the recommended locations for 6 new ?“10 miles per hour?” signs. These locations and the purchase of the new
signs was approved by the Board. The signs will be erected on the May Clean Up day, Saturday, May 22nd.
The Board agreed that additional speed bumps may be required to control speeding and reckless driving within the complex. Donny and Charley Hupp will do a walk-through on the west side to see where other speed bumps should be placed.

The Board of Directors appointed Todd Dass to fill Tom Dinkel?’s unexspired term. We all thank Tom for the fine service to his community and wish him well.
