Your neighborhood association would like to re-create a Crime Watch program. The program would involve the joint efforts of the police or sheriff's department and our residents. It is designed to enhance neighborhood security, heighten the residents?’ power of observation, and to encourage mutual
assistance and concern among neighbors.
The main objective of the Neighborhood Watch is to reduce the incidence of crime by:
?• Increasing residents?’ awareness of neighborhood crime
and suspicious activity;
?• Training and assisting residents in making their property
more secure;
?• Developing a neighborhood action program where neighbors
are encouraged to watch for and report suspicious persons
and activities to law enforcement agencies.
We need volunteers to be Block Captains to help coordinate the efforts that will make our neighborhood safer from criminal activity. Join our neighborhood watch program, by contacting Jim Lewis at 291-0205 or Tom Davis at 876-1499. If you have heard of or experienced any criminal or suspicious activity in our neighborhood, please tell us by contacting any member of the CCHSNA Board Members (see back page for phone numbers) or by calling our voice mail at 971-2618. We appreciate your efforts to keep our neighborhood crime free!
