Crown Meadows Homeowners Association

April 2006 - From Raymond Hall, Crown Meadows President

May 24, 2006

There has been a rash of graffiti strikes in our community recently. Please check your property and correct any vandalism. Remember, the HOA has a pressure washer for your free use. I was out recently repainting the entrance sign after individuals took it upon themselves to decorate it with graffiti.

If you have driven by the Crown Meadows Park and Recreation area during the last two weeks, you may have noticed the telephone line and card reader have been installed. Once installed and loaded, the HOA plans to conduct a general meeting where access cards will be passed to those in good standing.

The HOA is looking for individuals interested in serving on the HOA board. A number of positions are open for election and must be filled.

A homeowner requested a street light on the bend of Micron Dr, between Hilltop Crest and Jade Hill. The city was contacted and the request was submitted. We will follow-up.

Do you have something that your street requires? Let the HOA know, and if approved by the HOA board, a request to the city will be submitted.

The HOA has requested a complete accounting of homeowners that owe back dues, and will look at each file to determine the next step. If you need to determine if you owe a balance, contact the management company.

A homeowner wrote the management company and stated they were withholding their 2006 dues because they did not approve of the speed the park was constructed. Now let us think about this ?– shall we. First, we could not push forward with all of our planned projects because not all homeowners had paid their dues. Second, failure to pay dues results in interest accruing against your account. This sounds like a lose - lose situation to me. The park planning committee has worked as hard and as fast as our funding allowed. I can not tell you how many times I was contacted for more revenue because contractors wanted to begin the next phase, and I had to stall them until funding arrived.
