Meeting was opened and chaired by Trustee Steve Koetting.
31 of 70 homes were represented at the meeting.
Also joining the meeting were Ballwin Mayor Walter Young and Ballwin Alderman Tim Pogue
1 - Street Repair - The First Order of Discussion was the Ballwin street repair and the Missouri American Water main situation. Alderman Tim Pogue spoke regarding the timeline of street repairs. There are 4 stages to be completed. Current schedule is to be completed by end of June 2008. A question was asked regarding potential action to slow down vehicles on Stoddard's Mill. Current solution is to petition Ballwin Police to monitor the situation
2 - Financial Report - Steve Koetting reported as of end of 2007, Danbury had total surplus of $13,000+
3 - Pool - Potential Drain replacement was discussed. An inspection in May 2008 by the County will report necessary repairs and potential costs. Mark Sell motioned that if required repairs are not in excess of $5,000, trustees are granted authority to implement said repairs. Required repairs in excess of $5,000 will require an additional meeting for approval. Motion passed. Tracy Boehlin volunteered to be in charge of the Pool Committee.
4 - Pond - Discussion of the Pond was addressed by Paul Merkel. It was determined that no action was to be taken in regard to the situation at the pond. Estimates received for emptying, dredging and refilling the pond were over $100,000. Steve Gannon has replaced the eggs of one nesting pair of geese. It appears the geese population has decreased over the past 3 years as a result of the egg replacement strategy.
5 - Elections - Mark Sell nominated Steve Koetting for another term as Trustee. Koetting has served for the last 7 years. Koetting accepted the nomination and was voted onto the Board of Trustees unopposed.
Clean Up day is scheduled for May 12th
