2016 Fishing Day

Our fourth annual Youth Fishing Day was a great success.  We had 31 young fishers accompanied by their parents and/or grandparents.  We awarded ‘First Fish Certificates’ to Mason Bartholomew, Hudson Clark, Christian Clark, Trey Joesel, Jackson McAlpin and Grace McAlpin. 

There were twelve in the five and under age group.  Lila Parry caught the most fish with 16 followed by Lola Newson with 10 and Grace Upchurch with 9.

There were eight in the six to nine age group.  Finley Perry caught the most with 21 followed by Carson Blake with 11 and Paige Baker with 8.

There were eleven in the ten to twelve age group.  Noah Yarbrough caught the most fish with 15 followed by Elijah Guthrie with nine followed by a three way tie between Westan Duke, Annalee Guthrie and Hannah Lirette with 8.

The trophy for the most fish caught went to Finley Perry caught the most with 21 fish.

Thanks to all of those who came early and stayed late to setup and take down the pop-up tents and to the record keepers who kept track of number of fish caught. 

We look forward to seeing y’all next year.
