Oklahoma City Has A Leash Law!

Many neighbors do not know that it is illegal in Oklahoma City to let your dog run loose. Not only is it not safe for the dog, but it is not safe for people!! When enforced, the fine is $85 for each offense reported to Animal Welfare plus if your pet is taken to the OKC Animal Shelter, the fine will be higher. It is also not legal to let your dog defecate in your neighbors yard and leave it behind. The fine can run as high as $200 per incident. Please be respectful to your pet and your neighbors and do not let your dogs run loose!!
