Fall Festival A Success

The Desert Star HOA Board voted to sponsor the 1st Annual Fall Festival, held on the afternoon of October 25th. We were very pleased with the attendance and all of the positive feedback from homeowners about the event.

Many people brought their canopies, chairs, blankets and entire family to enjoy the beautiful weather and watch the kids play.
There were plenty of activities and fun: two huge inflatables, face painting, balloon twisting, as well as story time and dancing with Willa the Witch. Hot dogs, chips and sodas were available for a small charge, too. Representatives from the Peoria Police Department were present and distributed information about the Neighborhood Watch Program. A great sense of community was shared by everyone!

Since this event was so well received, we look forward to an even better event for next fall!
