December was a fun rime for the Downriver Poets & Playwrights. The group participated in a Christmas program at the Downriver Council of the Arts in Taylor, MI on the 14th of December. They shared the spotlight with a wonderful group of singers who dressed in old English attire and sang acapella some old and new Christmas songs.

On Dec. 19th, they had their annual Christmas party at the Wyandotte City Hall, where they enjoyed poetry and a potluck dinner.

They look forward to a great new year filled with inspiration and participation in poetry.
