D.P. & P. members enjoyed a day of poetry and art at the Muskegon Community College on Oct. 15th.

Morning began with coffee and donuts, business meeting,reading of member's poetry, presentation of a cute skit by Webb and Norma Scrivnor, who also gave us a fun assignment to write an "on the spot" poem". Then we had a delicious lunch buffet, presentation of poetry and wood sculpture by Rita Miller and finished up the day with more reading of poems.

We had about 30 something in attendance.

We all went back to our local groups enthused about writing more poetry and looking forward to the spring meeting.
