Spotlight: Amber J. May

A member of the Druid Hills Community for 4 years, Amber May, 18 will soon be a graduate of West Charlotte High School Class of 2007. This Fall Amber will be attending Winston Salem State University majoring in Business Management and Spanish. At West Charlotte she has been involved in Senior Mentor, ROTC, Jr. Alumni, Principal?’s Advisory and Campus Connections. She was one of the many brave students that stood up at a CMS Board Meeting to let her voice be heard about the conditions at West Charlotte.
Amber is the daughter of Audrea Smith. Her brother, Dylon is also a student at West Charlotte. Amber also works part time at the Mecklenburg Aquatic Center.
