Druid Hills was presented with the BEST NEIGHBORHOOD EXHIBIT award on Saturday March 8, 2008 at the 13th Annual Neighborhood Symposium. DHNA president Darryl Gaston and vice president Tammie Gaston accepted the award on behalf of the entire Druid Hills Association.

DHNA presents Celebrating Our Senses

The exhibit was a board that celebrated our 5 senses. See was about seeing the growth in Druid Hills through the building of Habitat for Humanity Homes. Touch was information about our website and how you can touch the keyboard to be directed to our website. Smell was to smell the flowers at our entrance sign. Hear was the childrens laughter at the Druid Hills Park. And, finally Taste...taste our designer M&Ms to experience the sweetness of the Druid Hills residents. All of which was put together nicely on a white board with black and red accents.

The Talk of the Symposium

Throughout the symposium you could hear people commenting on the Exhibit.You heard comments like "WOW did you see they have Druid Hills on M&Ms." "They have an interactive board." "The set up and design of the board is great." And many other comments that we loved! It was a wonderful opportunity for those of us there representing Druid Hills to get the information out about what we do here in Druid Hills.
