If you have driven down Burchwood Avenue in the last few weeks you may have noticed the EHNA Partnership sign in one of our neighbor?’s yards. Each month at our regular neighborhood meeting we will vote on a residence or business that has added to the beauty of East Hill.
This month the award went to Richard Espenant & Ray Kinman for the restoration of their beautiful Tudor home at 1022 Burchwood. You probably remember this house when the brick was partially pink and the front door was hanging from one hinge. The brick has been restored, the house painted yellow, and the entire interior painstakingly renovated. Richard and Ray have spent countless hours over the past two years doing much of the work themselves?—and it shows! What was once a tattered fixer-upper is now a truly beautiful home!
