TREE DISPOSAL

Through January 14th, you can dispose of your Christmas tree by taking it to any of the following Metro parks: Cane Ridge, Cedar Hill, East, Edwin Warner, Elmington, Hadley, Hartman, Joelton, Looby, Madison, Reservoir, Richland, Sevier, Two Rivers, and Whitfield. All trees must be free of flocking, lights, ornaments and garland, and will be sent to the Bordeaux Mulching Facility to be chipped and composted into mulch. (FYI: Finished mulch is available for anyone to purchase for as little as $8/cubic yard. For more information, call the Mulching Facility at 259-2234.)
The three drop-off sites closest to us in East Hill are: East Park at 700 Woodland St., Two Rivers Park at 3150 McGavock Pike, and Madison Park at 510 N. Dupont Ave.
