On Saturday afternoon, November 26, 2011, a suspicious person was observed knocking on the front door of a huse in the 9500 block of N. Ashley. When nobody answered, suspicious person walked around the side of said house. At this point suspicious person spotted a neighbor outside checking mail, and ran south on Ashley, carrying a pair of grass clippers. Upon investigastion, a lawn mower had been pulled toward the front of the house as if to steal. Description of suspect: black male, short dark hair, appearing to be over 30 (jusding by pictures which were of lesser quality images) wearing dark pants and blue wide horizontal golf-style shirt. Lawn mower is now "better secured"!
