Committee Needs Homeowner Input

Posted in: Greenway Park
The Committee to update the covenants and bylaws needs Homeowner feedback on all issues that generate strong feelings. Now is the time to post thoughts about the ACC and the rules that govern the association.

The Covenant Benefits Everyone

Every person who purchased a home in Greenway Park agreed to abide by a convenant designed to keep our community clean, safe and a desirable place to live. This covenant also helps insure that our houses retain their financial valve. Neighbors who do not regularly invest in their homes through regular maintenance or improvement bring down the communities appearance and thus the value of ALL of the residences. I think we need to increase fines for those out of compliance. If the fines are not paid in a timely manner (and the infraction corrected) the fines should increase every month until the homeowner complies. Special considerations could be made if finanacial hardship could be shown (these people would have longer to fix their homes without penalty). We could also form a ''handyman club'' of homeowners, so that those people who need help fixing their homes could get it (no charge) if they agreed to help other homeowners fix their houses.
