The Edgemoor Neighborhood Association meeting was called to order by Deanne Kimmitt @ 7:30 PM, May 15, 2003. Terese Hilliard, our President, was unable to attend tonight.

Joe Troung reported that a recent prostitution and drug sting netted good results and lots of arrests. The US Marshall reported a suspect who had been on the lam for 10 yrs. near our area. He was arrested last night with the help of our officers and an arsenal of weapons, many illegal, were found in his room. ATF now wants this guy for Federal reasons.

Dick Martin?’s people on the Southside of 62nd Ave. in an apartment building have been being watched. There was a tip regarding a drug dealer and he has since been caught. It was a known fact that he was delivering to prostitutes and workers around the area.

There were 2 car break-ins on the West side of our neighborhood.

There were 2 commercial burglaries, 1 house break-in and 3 car break-ins reported on the East side of the neighborhood.

May 27th @ 7:00 PM there is a meeting at Riviera Middle School in the cafeteria regarding the planned changes to Puryear Park.

June 21st there is a Bike Rally being organized at Puryear Park, time to be announced.

The next neighborhood meeting will be Sept. 18th at 7:30 PM see you there.
