Edgemoor Neighborhood Meeting -- December 20, 2001, 7 PM

Meeting called to Order at 7p.m. by President Terese.

Minutes Read, approved and Seconded by Pat.

Treasurers Report: September 21, 2001 Balance of 649.11 with deposit of $20.00 bringing balance to $669.11. Motion to approve Treasurer?’s report by Tracy, seconded by Jules.

CPO ?– Report by Officer Truong: Palm Avenue, Residential Burglary-Compact Red Pick up Truck with 2 black subjects in neighborhood. He may try to get free club to give out at next meeting. Present Registration and Driver?’s License for Free Club, he will fill out paperwork.

Officer Deary: Vehicle Burglary in afternoons 2-5 p.m.. LOCK YOUR DOORS, break down boxes after Christmas. Keep an out eye for a Black Pick up Truck Explorer/Nissan

President Terese Motioned to make Burglary our top priority, then Traffic.

Public Works Report ?– By Terese ?– Spoke with Carla Blahaul in reference to Canal at 1st and 45th to clean up length of canal to clear property Owner can apply for Permit to Clean up. State may pull permit to clean canal. May need letter from Association. Update on Tree Planting ?– None.

Board Members ?– Anita and Jules.

Terese spoke to Aspire Graphics, he is willing to do newsletter but needs more ads and space to fill (Articles).
Terese motioned we table newsletter until slate of Officers and voting complete after Board Meeting. Tracy Seconded.

Town Meeting with Board of County Commissioners will be held January 8, 2002, 6p.m. at Willis John Recreation Center Commissioner John Morroni to be main speaker.

Terese Motioned we invite the new Chief to attend our next meeting, Conrad Seconded.

Cona Report by Conrad ?– Mayor Baker and New Police Chief were there. Mayor Baker spoke about the firing of Police Chief, ?“He did what was in best interest of City. Chief and Mayor to take proactive to safety. Mayor?’s Breakfast to air big problems, most serious problem is Public Safety. Mayor Baker wants new chief to meet with every neighborhood.

Discussion about calling Andy Meecham to write column that Chief of Police will be at next meeting.

Motion to adjourn, so moved, Meeting Adjourned to 8:30 p.m.
