Summer Is Almost Over!

Memorial


One of boardmembers, Doris Williams, passed away on June 4. Doris was always an asset to our board meetings and will be sorely missed. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to her family.


Highway 406 Project
Would you like to be part of the maintenance and/or beautification of Highway 406? We are looking for input with this project. Please come to the next meeting and share you ideas or Call Frances Sewell @ 393-0390.


Neighborhood Watch
We would like active in the neighborhood watch program. We all hate the dumped trash and burned cars. These are both crimes. Please be extra diligent in keeping your eyes open for anyone dumping trash or abandoning cars. If you see a crime taking place call 911. For non-emergencies call 821-2222. Please don?’t wait for someone else to call. Better that they get a dozen alls than none.


Meeting Notice:
Our next general meeting will be Tuesday Sept. 16, 2003 at 7:00P.M. The doors will open at 6:30.


Trash Pick-Up and Recycling
Have you put items out for garbage pick-up only to have them left by the Department of Sanitation? The Dept. of Sanitation has criteria on what can and cannot be left out for curbside pick-up. We will have information at the next meeting on the items that they are required to pick up.

The recycling truck will only pick up certain types of recyclables. We will also have information available on these items.

If you know a new resident or property owner who would like to become a member, please have them send their name, address , property location (if different than address) phone number, fax number, and email address, along with $20 dues to:

Nominations for boardmembers
The terms of the 5 at-large boardmembers are expiring this fall. At the September meeting, the floor will be opened for nominations for the November elections. Nominations will also be taken at the November meeting. Eligibility and acceptance will be verified before placing names on the ballot.


Refreshments will be served to all members at the end of the meeting.
