Remember, if you are going on vacation over the holidays to put your car alarm on the ?‘valet?’ setting or give your activator to a neighbor. It is important to be vigilant both at home and away. The holidays are prime time for theives. Keep curtains drawn and doors locked when you are away.
Leave lights on for the at home look, and lock your car! Put items purchased while shopping in the trunk, away from prying eyes.
Holiday decorations must be removed from the outside of your home by Jan. 25, 2000, or there may be a fine imposed.
