Ethel Spiroff lives at 6302 Port Royal with her husband Victor. Ethel is president of two companies owned by she and Victor. One is an eye frame company and the other is a microscope company. Ethell has lived in San Antonio for five years, coming from upstate New York where she spent 30 years. Ethel and Victor have one son, Matthew, who helps run the businesses, but lives in his own home. Ethel works in her yard, trying to get it to look as good (or close to) as the previous owners. An animal lover, Ethel always seems to have stray cats and dogs in her yard. She tries to find the owners of these animals, or works to find new homes for them. Her pride and joy is a small black poodle (her own) called Pierre. He can be seen in their back yard, always waiting for people to stop and talk to him.
