FAR NORTHWEST COALITION
P. O. BOX 340285
COLUMBUS, OH 43234-0285
April 30, 2008
The Far Northwest Coalition (FNWC) met for its regularly scheduled meeting at St. Andrew Church on Smokey Row Road. Members present of the FNWC Board were John Murley, Joe Macomber,
Mike Brown and Rich Herner. Vice President Murley acted as Chair for the meeting.
There was a motion and a second to approve the Minutes, as presented, of the previous meeting held on March 26, 2008. Motion passed.
The FNWC group discussed various items, including the Safelite building graphics, and the Graphics Commission recommendation, essentially in agreement to the FNWC position. Apparently the owners have now appealed the ruling to the Common Pleas Court. The I-270 & SR 315 interchange work was alsodiscussed, specifically the work currently in progress.
Murley advised that he had been attending the Community Oversight Foundation meetings in Delaware County. He gave a brief overview of some of the issues being considered by the group, including the Sawmill Extension, the Orange Road bridge and Wal-Mart.
Joy and Mike Scholl did not attend the meeting to present the variance request for their property located at 1945 Snouffer Road. Consequently, the FNWC did not take apposition on the request.
There being no further business to come before the FNWC, the meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
Rich Herner
FNWC Secretary
