Barking Dogs

Mar 27, 2003

There are still numerous homeowners leaving dogs
outside in kennels or the yard while they are away.
It is the pet owners responsibility to keep pets from
barking excessively (even if this means keeping
them inside). Even though you are at work and
cannot hear the noise, it is not music to your
surrounding neighbors?’ ears! Some homeowners
are home during the day because they work at
night. Please be courteous to your neighbors and
keep your pets quiet.
If homeowner refuse to solve this problem, the City
of Thornton Animal Control Department will be
contacted, and the
homeowner will be fined
until the problem is
resolved. For tips on how
to control barking
problems, contact the
Denver Dumb Friends
League, or visit their
website at
www.ddfl.org.
