Be a Good Neighbor

Golden Rule

Let's all follow the Golden Rule when it comes to being a neighbor: Do on to your neighbor as you would like them to do to you.

Do you want to live next to a dump? While it might be convenient to you, leaving your trash cans, debris, building materials and other items on the side and in your front yard is an eye sore, not to mention a covenant violation.

Fluffy the dog is cute, but his poo poo is not. Scoop and remove the poop.

It's great if Fluffy has been to obedience school, but he still needs a to be on a leash when walking through the community. Many owners believe their dog would never harm anyone- but there could always be a first time. Avoid trouble.

You like country music and your neighbor likes rap. You both should be able to enjoy your own taste without interference from the other. There is a noise ordinance in Thornton. Be considerate!

In a hurry to get home? What's few extra minutes? Don't take the risk of hitting little Jimmy or Jane. Slow it down!

When you bought your house, you brought the street in front as did your neighbor. Do not park on someone else's property and do not allow your guest to either.
