Panther Springs Park

The areas south and west of The Forest that is aquifer recharge zone, has been slated to be Panther Springs Park. It will have nature trails and such. No other structures are to go in. (i.e. Mays YMCA Park) The parking for the area is going in off of Blanco Road. The city is putting together a proposal to our councilman for a bond issue in November. It will be for Phase 1.

Below is the link with info about Stone Oak Park. It will be located between Evans four way stop and Hwy 281 near Champions Ranch. This park will be a long term project that will eventually make the park run from Bush Middle School to the Champions Ranch. Design start 9-00; estimated design end - 6-03; estimated construction start - 09-03; estimated construction completion 12-03. They are spending $337,000 for phase 1.
