Four homes have been burglarized during the daytime hours this past week in our neighborhood. In the majority of the burglaries the suspect broke a window to gain access. In one of the burglaries a black male in his twenties, approximately 6 160 pounds was seen running to a gray SUV, possibly a GMC Yukon, with another black male fitting the same description in the drivers seat. The first three letters of the Florida tag were QXT. A shed was also broken into in the 9300 block of N. Willow by a Hispanic male in his twenties, 5 10 140-160 pounds with a mustache. He was driving a late 80s to early 90s model blue/gray Buick Regal or LaSaber. Everyone is reminded to secure their home, set their alarm, and call 911 or the non-emergency number of 231-6130 if you see anyone suspicious or have any information regarding the burglaries.

This incident occurred just north of our neighborhood.  If you see this person call the police and have an officer respond and check him out.  Do not let him in your house!

As reported by a citizen: A tall white man tried to come in our house.  He was in a blue, older model Bronco type of SUV with a white top.  He said he was my neighbor and lived on Eckles Dr.  He was locked out of his house, out of money and needed to come in.  I spoke to him through the window and said I could not help him.  He did leave; however, he went traveled south on Rome and stopped at two other houses before he dead ended at the golf course.  He then went southwest.
