ROSE to "deconstruct" house soon

Dear Neighbors,
I received a letter from Frank Eckstein, Housing Construction Manager at Rose CDC, dated August 10, 1999, as follows:
Re: Property located at 5012 SE 77th
Dear Cindy,
As you know, ROSE currently owns property at this location. We plan to build new homes and would like to start deconstruction of the house in the near future. Deconstruction is a process that salvages and recycles 85% of the materials for re-use in the community. We appreciate that the community is interested in preserving resources and deconstruction is a way to accomplish that goal.
Please notify ROSE Community Development within 30 days of this letter if you have other alternatives that you wish to pursue for this property, such as moving the house. In order to determine if the proposed alternative is viable, ROSE will need a firm timeline and binding agreement stating the responsibilities of each party.
