Due to other cleanups around Council District Seven that we had scheduled for today, Saturday, January 28, 2006 [please watch Channel 10 News, Marti Emerald], we decided to getup a bit earlier today and conduct the Fox Canyon homeless enumeration before this coming Monday [one hard working day does it all for us]. Will you please, add the following information [data] to your Outdoors-man [Homeless] enumeration of Monday, Jan 30, 2006, of Manzanita and other City Heights Canyons?
Our survey was conducted from 5:30 to 9:00 AM.
1] Population: 27 males, 8 females, 2 children [appear to be under 14], total = 37 humans, from which 1 entire family was recorded, as follow:
- a. Males: 13 African-American [black], 6 Caucasians [2 of which appear to be under age], 3 Latinos, 2 Asian, 3 undefined; from which, 4 males were observed pandering at two locations: on Euclid Avenue, just north of University [front of the video store] and at University/Reno [front of the Liquor Store and the Tower bar].
- b. Females: 4 African-American [black], 3 Caucasian, 1 undefined, from which 1 appeared to be the mother of two [male children under 14], 3 appear to be prostitutes and 1 appears to be under age.
- c. 2 male children: both appear to be Caucasians.
2] Four [4] encampments were totally CLEANED-OUT!

- a. At the finger-canyon between Reno/Euclid/Auburn Drive, Access point: behind 4779 Reno Drive [an apartment complex].
- b. Auburn Creek [Winona/Landis], access point: 50th Street [Chollas Creek side of the canyon].
- c. Auburn Creek [Winona/Ontario Avenue], access point Ontario/lower Auburn Drive [Fox Canyon side of the canyon].
- d. At the finger-canyon between Lantana/Dwight/Euclid/Isla Vista; access point: Euclid Avenue.

20. 7 sleeping bags
21. 6 empty wallets
22. 5 metal eating utensils [spoons]
23. 3 pornographic magazines

30. 2 prescription med empty bottles.
