Dear Neighbors,
Happy Spring to all! In no time, we'll really be enjoying some nice weather & the lawns and flowers that accompany it!

Thanks to all of you who responded to us regarding your opinion for a park in Franklin Estates. So far, there is a strong desire to have a small park in our plan.

Unfortunately, the meeting that was scheduled with the FERA Board Members and Murrysville Council was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances with some council members. Therefore, the plan from IDC that was presented to Council is still not known by FERA Board Members. As soon as the meeting is rescheduled & we have some more information, we will let you know.

On another note, we had a report from a neighbor on Jefferson Street stating that their van was burglarized last week. Nothing of significant value was taken, just their change carrier containing money used for paying tolls. The homeowner is assuming it was kids.

Their van is usually locked, but it wasn?’t this time. It was parked in the driveway
and they found the driver?’s door ajar last Thursday morning. They hadn?’t driven it since Monday, March 24th so it happened between Monday night and Thursday morning.

We just wanted to pass this along so that others can be more cautious
and aware that this does happen from time to time.
