Garage Sale to be Rescheduled

Despite the Pennysaver trying their best to remedy the situation of them omitting our ad from the 9/13 edition, the Garage Sale is a bust (and it's only 9:30 a.m. on the day of, as I write this).

Before you phone a donation organization or pack all of your stuff back into your decluttered house...

We are going to reschedule the Garage Sale for either next weekend (9/23) or the following (9/30). The deadline for running an ad for this upcoming week's edition of the Pennysaver was yesterday, but I'll see if any special accommodations can be made so that we can have the sale next weekend. If not, we'll schedule it for the last Saturday of the month (9/30).

Obviously, the Pennysaver is the main headliner to get foot traffic into our neighborhood for this event. Although, the Trib ad placement was a nice try in remediating the Pennysaver's error, it did not reach type of audience we seek.

I apologize for this inconvenience & hope that changing the date after appropriate advertising has been done by the Pennysaver can help alleviate the burden of your cleaner house, yet messier garage!

I'll keep you posted on the revised date as soon as I contact the Pennysaver on Monday. I will also re-post any signs that were put up at local businesses (it did draw at least 1 of our 5 customers)!
