Child Care Co-op & Adult Sports League
FERA secretary and super webmaster, Monica Diacopoulos, just added a Neighborhood Networking Events section on the web site. She started with 2 activities that you can join. Enjoy your neighborhood...


- A Child Care Co-op for interested parents with young children that wish to
exchange child care. It's a great opportunity to help each other out.
- An Adult Sports League for those interested in informal exercise and fun.
Let's get together some teams/leagues for bowling, golf, deck hockey,
hiking, walking,basketball, cycling, etc. It's a great way to find a daily walking
group.

By the way, as a reminder - additions/changes to the directory can be made on the website under Community Pages. We need the changes quickly, please.

Franklin Estates' Neighborhood Night Out is set for Tuesday, September 24 2002 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (rain date is set for Thursday, September 26th). In other communities, Neighborhood Night Out (NNO) has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit.

The premise behind NNO is to get out and reacquaint with old neighbors and meet new ones. Plan a walk on your street or throughout the neighborhood, play with your kids in the front yard, mingle with your neighbors on the street...anything to get people out and talking! The benefits of NNO will most certainly extend well beyond the one night.

Join your neighbors for an evening of networking and community spirit!
