Mayor's Grant 2008 and Park Updates......

Again this year, the G I T Assn has applied for, and received, one of the Mayor's Grants to help improve area neighborhoods. With this grant money we are going to install 2 grills with concrete pads and purchase new picnic tables for under the picnic shelter. We are hoping to have this work completed by July 4th so we can really celebrate the holiday in style!!! Remember, the park is open to everyone and the only rules or guidelines that apply to it are those set up by the city. The picnic shelter is a first come-first serve set up and, at this time, no reservations are available for that.
