Fill A Stocking, Fill A Heart

Christmas 2000 is over and the fourth annual ?“Fill a Stocking, Fill a Heart?” stocking drive has
come to a close. The drive provides filled stockings to those in need at various Clackamas
County agencies.
This year the drive filled and distributed 1,800 stockings to children and adults at
Christmas time. The non-profit community service project is run solely on volunteer labor an is
entirely community funded. Many thanks to the many generous residents and businesses in Oregon
City who participated.
Gaffney Lane N.A. helped for the third year in a row by making a $50.00 cash contribution.
However, just because Christmas has passed doesn?’t mean there is not an opportunity to
volunteer in preparing for Christmas 2001. For further information, please call 503-632-0577 or

Center Busy Bees are always looking for fabric to sew stockings.
