If the library has seemed busier than ever in recent months it?’s because new records for usage are being set. On Monday, January 16th the library set a new record for loans in a single day ?– 2,255 items were checked out. January?’s loan rate was 17% higher than the previous January and, for the fiscal year to date, loans are running about 12% over last year.
