The 4th annual Teddy Bear Parade will be held Saturday, May 19, 2001 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The parade begins at 10th & Main Street in downtown Oregon City. The parade follows Main Street to Clackamette Park and becomes part of the Pioneer Family Festival.
How to Get Involved? Log onto our
Web Site at www.teddybearparade.com or call Rena Adamek at 503-759-4474.
The Teddy Bear Parade welcomes everyone in the community to participate. Bring a bear or stuffed
animal which will be collected during the parade, then given to Emergency Services in Oregon City, as well as the rest of Clackamas County. These will then be distributed throughout the year to children in frightening situations where a small comfort such as a stuffed animal will make a world of difference.
If you are unable to participate in the parade, come down to watch the parade & win! Generous
sponsors have donated great prizes! Everyone along the parade route will receive an entry ticket. Lucky numbers will be drawn after the parade at 1:00 p.m. at the Center Stage of the Pioneer Family Festival. You must be present to win!
