Fire Protection Board

The Golden Gate Fire Protection District Board oversees the budget and facilities of the Golden Gate volunteer fire department. Board members are elected to 4 year terms and are not paid for their service. Current Board members are:

Bill Brown (President), term expires 2000
Bob Unger (Treasurer), term expires 2002
Rick Saltus (Secretary), term expires 2002
John Cady, term expires 2000
Tonie Mattox, term expires 2000

The Board has a meeting on the third Tuesday of every month at 7 pm. The meetings are open to the public and are held at Fire Station #1 on Robinson Hill Road (located near the intersection of Robinson Hill Rd and Douglas Mtn Rd). Please feel free to attend and express your opinions about the business of the District.
