The marigold planted by Golding of the Triangle volunteers last May are at their peak now and couldn't be more beautiful. Many other flower beds and planters in the neighborhood have been tended with care for the enjoyment of everyone in the community. This labor of love should not go unrecognized, so the following is a list of those good neighbors. If we failed to notice someone's flowers, please call the GTNA office (303-572-0506) to be listed next month.
The marigold beds on Speer Boulevard were impeccable tended all summer by some very civic minded neighbors:
The Norris Dullea Company-Colfax Avenue Grand Cherokee residents-14th Avenue Colondade federal office building employess-13th Avenue Humphries Poli Architects-12th Avenue, Metropolitan Lofts residents-11th Avenue
One more thank you goes to the city parks department employee, Gary Macias, who added another measure of TLC to the Speer Blvd. marigolds. He watered them by hand all summer because the water main is broken.
