Library Book Sale and Coffee Shop
The Fall Book Sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 11 (9-5) and Sunday, October 12 (12-4) at the GNW Branch Library.
The Coffee Shop will be open - a cup of coffee is free with the purchase of our homemade baked goodies!
If you have never attended a sale you will be surprised by the wide
selection of books available. These are not used library books - they are gently used books that have been donated for the sale. Our prices are very reasonable. Children?’s books are $.25, most adult books are $.50 and $1.00. There are a few specially priced books and sets of books. This is a book bargain hunter?’s dream come true!
If you would like to donate books for the sale please drop them off at the Library during regular operational hours. We accept adult and children?’s books in good condition. Textbooks and magazines do not sell well. We also accept videos, tapes and other media.
Are you a great baker? We also need baked goods to sell in the coffee shop. Drop off donations on sale days. Cookies, brownies, cupcakes, muffins, and cakes all sell well. Chocolate is always a favorite!
All profits are for the benefit of the Great Northwest Library. Items we
have purchased for the Library include the colorful carpet in the Children?’s area, the Rocking chair for Story time, LOTS of books, performers for the Summer Reading program, supplies, and equipment.
Come to the Book Sale and find great bargains, enjoy a cup of coffee and a delicious treat and help the Library too!
