Minutes

Meeting was held at Henry Boyd?’s home.

1) Chamber of Commerce Meeting
a. New head of Chamber getting settled.
b. Debates ?– need a volunteer group to handle.
c. Meeting to be established at a later date.
d. Sponsorship from Council is requested.
e. Communications by Bartlett Express/Appeal.

2) Budget ?– Paul Houghland to provide a proposal for an estimate.

3) Political Debates
a. Budget expected
b. Flyers
c. Held at Bartlett Performing Arts Building
d. Dates: June/July for County
i. Sept/Oct. for General
e. Entertainment
Note: Everything is pending a meeting with the Chamber President.

4) Debbie Morrison is the liaison between the Mayor and us.
a. Monetary support
b. Agenda for Meeting
i. Bartlett Police Chief re: gangs
ii. County Sheriff
iii. School Principals (Ann Edmondson)

Paul and Peter to get speakers and panel set up.
5) Dawn Boone ?– Bartlett Express will get us exposure through the Women?’s Magazine.

6) Business Cards for the Executive Council Members through vistaprint.com. Paola High to get cards for each member to include the website address.

7) Neighborhood Watch, Tony Sebbio did a fantastic job getting the news out about the Council.

8) Bartlett night at Auto Zone Park is June 6th. The council was going to have a booth, however, at a cost of $250-$500 the money was not in the budget.

9) Great American Cleanup ?– free trash bags 522-1135, March 3 through May 31st.

10) The July meeting will kickoff the Neighborhood Watch and Tony Sebbio will set an agenda.

11) Next Board meeting will be held June 6th at Paul Houghland?’s home.


The next G.B.C. general meeting is scheduled for May 2, 2006 at the Bartlett Library.
