SELECTED BEAUTIFICATION GRANT IDEAS

GENA'S PROPOSAL FOR A BEAUTIFICATION GRANT

At the circle where Spring Park Road and Spring Glen
Road intersect, there will be a brick walkway around
the outside of the circle.

Wood pilings in ground, placed in a curve and cut off short
with dirt pulled to the outside to create a berm.

Within the walkway will be a small offset circle with
connecting brick walkway.

The ofset circle will also be brick with a flagpole or fountain in the center.

An alternative would be to build the small circle behind
the berm with connecting walkway.

GENA will design an "ENGLEWOOD" on berm's outer side with
white rocks, the berm to be angled to face East for Spring Park Road in both directions.

Keep the palm trees and match their area with tropical
shrubs. Trim the lower branches on the remaining trees and
landscape them with matching follage. One of the Oak trees
also needs to be topped because of the awful trimming done by the power company.

It would be nice if during the Spring Park reconstruction stage, we could get the city to incorporate some of our
ideas for the Circle. Free dirt, free grading perhaps or
bring us the paving bricks needed?

Let the President know of your interest ideas and changes
for this project.
