The disc golf course at Big Run Park is one of the few in the state. This large park also features an athletic complex with basketball courts and a community meeting room. Other amenities include: soap box derby hill, nature trails, public gardens and play grounds.

Across Broad Street from Rhodes Park at the crest of the hill is the large brick newly refurbished Glenwood Recreation Center, which features: swimming pool, and adult fitness facilities.
Winter sledders are a tradition on the hilly grounds, other outdoor amenities include: play grounds, picnic areas, tennis and basketball courts and the Sensenbrenner landmark, a memorial to the former mayor and Hilltop resident.
