Semi-Trucks in the Driveway

Many of you have expressed conserns over neighbors who park their Semi-Truck cab in their driveway and around the neighborhood.
First let me express the law on this. It is Illegal. The states the limit for vehicles parked in residential areas does not reach that of the Semi-Truck cab or trailer.
Please, if you need to park somewhere, identify a proper location and get permission but don't park in the neighborhood. They block the roads and their weight causes damage to the infra-structure of our roads and sidewalks.

The semi parking problem is a code enforcement matter as is the junk car situation. There is a new telephone number for zoning, code enforcement, and animal control which is proving to be excellent. It is 630-3490 and you may tell them I recommended that you call. If the junk cars are on private property, this is the correct number. If the junk cars are on the street, you should call the Sheriff's Junk Car Detail at 630-2196.
