Day Care Facility Wants to Grow

Well here it comes, the Day Care facility near the church on
Parental Home Rd. has purchased the property behind it and now desires to raise their numbers to 25 and may have to opportunity to go to 50 children. Originally they only wanted to be able to care for the 12 or so children of freinds they knew, now it's 25. This becomes a problem for this completely residential area. It brings in an industry and opens the door for other bussiness to enter and push out the residents. Now one might ask, what is wrong with a Child Care facility in the area. Nothing, so long as it's a small, simple facility operating within the scope of the residential code established for the area. That is what we allowed them to do but now they want more. As is usually the case. So I need to hear from you, our neighbors, to know what you want. As it stands for now we at GHANA will oppose their request for an exception to the code. The hearing is on Aug. 10th at 2PM in the Court House downtown. Only the emidiate neighbors and GHANA will be allowed to speak to the issue. So here is your chance. Now let me hear from you.
