Strathmore events and news:

Strathmore Saturdays is in full swing. Every Saturday morning (7:00am - 11:30am) until August 30, the roads inside Upper Onondaga Park will be closed to traffic. This makes it a great time for the whole family to bicycle, rollerblade, run, or stroll!

Pops in the Park is back! The Syracuse Pops Orchestra will perform in the gazebo on every Tuesday evening in July at 7:15pm.

The date for the 3rd annual Parks Run 5K has been set for Sunday, September 28. Mark your calendar. This gives you plenty of time to be in peak condition (at least that's what I tell myself). Volunteers are also needed. If you would like to help please call Ed Golash (478-8768).

Plans are under way to pursue Historic Designation status for Strathmore. If you are an amateur history buff, have an interest in architecture, like to do research, and/or just a civic interest - then your help is needed. Please contact Patty (471-7645) or Sarah (426-2995) if you can help.

A Strathmore friend is looking for part-time (Mon, Tues, & Fri afternoons) child care for a 6 month old. Please call Lisa (488-3513) if you can help or if you know of anyone.

A Strathmore neighbor was recently left a note claiming to be from the Strathmore Neighborhood Preservation Group. There is NO connection to the Greater Strathmore Neighborhood Association and this group appears to be fictitious. Please let us know if this ever comes up again.
