If you live within the Greater Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council borders, you're already a member--a Stakeholder. While any resident can join in our activities, serve on committees and speak at meetings, only Stakeholders can hold a board office or vote for officeholders and on other issues.
A good way to get involved is to come to our committee meetings, which are geared toward specific areas of interest.
Another way is to attend our monthly council meetings. These have general-interest themes, neighbor comments, updates on projects and issues, feature guest speakers, and committee reports.
Our job is to find ways we can help people get their questions answered and help get their projects either underway or to completion.
We are always looking for people to help us with projects in progress, as well as to lighten the load of doing the council's work. We are all volunteers, and if you would like to contribute some time, please see the CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS page or e-mail us.
If you send us your mailing address, we'll add you to our mailing list. We currently mail postcard notifications of our monthly council meetings.
If you send us your e-mail address, we'll add you to our regular e-mail notices about city issues, GTLNC: meeting notices, agendas and event updates.
