Creek Cleanup

There is a creek that runs through Meadowlark Subdivision beginning at the bridge on Benbow Road next to Fit Club, the old New Attitude Fitness Center and through several properties and exiting the division under the bridge over the Old Knoxville Highway. There are some areas that have debris and fallen trees that is causing erosion in some areas. We would like to obtain permission from the property owners to allow volunteer work crews to enter their property to assist in the cleanup of the creek. This creek is part of the Middle Nolichucky Watershed Alliance headed by Mr. Paul Hayden. To assist in these efforts please contact Steve Meriweather or one of the officers of Meadowlark Neighborhood Association. Lets work together to preserve our environment and beautify our neighborhood.
